Lavrio Port distances and timing
Lavrio Port sits at the southeastern tip of Attica. It is about 35 km from Athens International Airport, roughly 35 to 45 minutes by car, and about 60 km from central Athens, roughly 60 to 75 minutes in normal traffic. From Athens Riviera areas such as Anavyssos, Lagonisi and Sounion the drive is short, typically 15 to 30 minutes. Lavrio serves ferries to the Cyclades, including Kea and Kythnos, and is a common embarkation point for sailing charters and smaller cruise ships.
